On 12 Sep 2009, the 2009 annual SHINE Party With a Purpose charity event was held. The party is organized to raise money for the Teddy Bear Clinic; a non-profit organisation dedicated to reducing child abuse and helping children to overcome abuse.
The organizers of the event slaved away for months to ensure that the evening ran smoothly and was bucket loads of fun for everyone who attended. Various prizes were given away throughout the night, one of which was Truso Hamper filled with beautiful items from Truso and Greatheart Gifts.
This year the SHINE event raised a whopping R75,000 – every cent of which will go to the Teddy Bear Clinic. This will certainly make a huge difference in many children’s lives. We at Truso are so proud to have been able to make a small contribution to such a great cause.
